Description

The VocAlarm™ family of voice enhanced sounders has been designed to provide a cost effective and simple solution where the reassurance of a voice message is required. Each alarm device offers the ability to select from 32 electronic tones and high quality digitised speech messages. The messages and tones are stored on a factory programmed micro SD card, which is securely integrated as part of the electronic circuit. All 32 tones and warning messages are fully synchronised and have been selected to comply with the latest sound patterns and frequencies used throughout the world. VocAlarm™ Sounders have the option of an override or second tone and message, offering a two stage alarm. This facility requires the installation of a third wire from the fire alarm panel to each device. The second stage message and tone is linked to the first stage message and tone according to the DIL switch settings. Designed using the same body style as the Vantage sounder (VTG) and sounder/beacon (VTB) ranges, the VocAlarm™ products extend the already popular family of Cranford Controls’ conventional warning devices. Available in red or white body colours, with either a shallow base for internal applications or a deep base for an enhanced IP rating, the VocAlarm™ sounders and sounder/beacons offers a flexible option to voice enhanced sounder installations. In addition, the VocAlarm™ is also available in the Verso style (VSO) platform sounder base and the (VSL) platform sounder/beacon base, increasing flexibility to the alarm system installer.
