Kentec Lockdown Notification System
Kentec Lockdown Notification System brings wireless technology to emergency notification, helping reduce the need for extensive cabling throughout a building.
The system uses a self-healing mesh network, allowing devices to find alternative communication paths if a connection is interrupted. It supports up to three programmable voice messages, bi-directional wireless communication, visual alert indication and device battery life of up to 10 years, depending on usage.
For installers, the K-Mesh Configurator software can also be used to design, program and commission systems before arriving on site, helping simplify installation and preparation.
Its wireless approach can make K-Mesh a particularly useful option for buildings where installing new cabling could be challenging or disruptive.
Vimpex Identi-Cryer

Vimpex Identi-Cryer is a voice-enhanced emergency notification system designed to provide clear instructions during critical situations, including lockdown and invacuation. The range includes lockdown control panels, voice-enhanced sounders, message controllers, call points and protective Smart Guard covers, allowing systems to be configured for different applications. Lockdown control panels are available in 2, 4 and 8-zone configurations, with up to 72 hours of battery standby. The voice system is designed to provide clear and unambiguous instructions to occupants, helping communicate what action should be taken during an emergency. For sites where clear voice instructions are an important part of an emergency response strategy, Identi-Cryer provides a flexible option. |

Luminite ALERTEX
Luminite ALERTEX takes a wireless approach to critical emergency notification. The system uses wireless lockdown units that are visually and audibly distinct from fire alarm signals.
This distinction is important because a lockdown situation requires a different response from a fire evacuation. Clear, recognisable alerts can help occupants understand which procedure is being activated.
The range includes call points, sounder/beacons and other wireless devices, with options for bespoke lockdown messages or a choice of 32 alert sounds. Devices can also be activated across a site, with Luminite stating a range of up to 1km between units in suitable conditions.
In July 2026, Luminite also introduced desktop alerts for Alertex, allowing custom lockdown notifications to be displayed on networked computers when the system is activated.
