Women in Security Golf day has been back in full swing for 2024. On Thursday 16th May over 100 women in security with all different levels of golfing abilities came together to play golf at the Belfry Hotel for 18 holes on the Derby course.
The day was filled with lots of fun and laugher starting off in the morning with some food, drinks and Videcon goody bags before heading to the course to try and play some golf. Everyone was delighted by the drinks carts going round by our own staff Dan & Jonny, making sure everyone’s champaigns and beers was topped up and 19th hole went down a treat from Yuassa.. the Jager bomb stand!
The evening doo was time for everyone to enjoy the bbq and dance the night away with the live band Karaoke while receiving rewards for performance throughout the day such as ‘Who spent the most time in the bunkers’.
This outstanding day was organised by our very own Debbie Carter, along withy Liz & Camila for the 2nd year running with nearly triple the attendees compared to the previous year! Videcon are proud to be one of the headline sponsors or Women in Security awards for 2024, an amazing organisation that recognises and rewards the great talent and contributions from the women in our industry, which will take place this year on 12th September at Shakespeare’s Underglobe Theatre in London.
The next golfing event is already being planned for 2025 and we can’t wait to see you all there!
